O'Donojú, Juan (hwän ōthōnōh `), d. 1821, Spanish colonial administrator. He distinguished himself in the army and became captain general of Andalusia. Sent out (1821) as captain general and acting viceroy of New Spain, he found all Mexico, except a few towns, in the control of the revolutionists under Iturbide Iturbide, Agustín de (äg.....
