Osa 

a city and administrative center of Osa Raion, Perm’ Oblast, RSFSR. Population, 17,000 (1974). Osa, 144 km southwest of Perm’, is situated on the western slopes of the Urals on the left bank of the Kama River, near the Kama’s confluence with the Tulva River. Oil is drilled in the area. Industries include logging and the processing of agricultural raw materials. Osa has a zooveterinary technicum and a pedagogical school.
