OSMINE

(Operations Systems Modification of Intelligent Network Elements) A system from Telcordia for verifying compatibility with Telcordia-designed operating systems. A process that can take from six to 18 months, competitive carriers employ OSMINE to determine that their systems can interoperate with the incumbent carriers.
