(2) (The OBJECTive Technology Group, Ltd., Alexandria, VA) An organization that was devoted to distributed computing and object technology. Founded in 1994, it augmented the object and Internet standards community and served as an intermediary between them and ISVs and users. The OTG hosted the Object Oriented Technology & Symposium (OOTS) conferences for communications and media, the financial industry and the Federal Government. The functions of this organization were absorbed into the non-profit Interoperability Clearinghouse at www.ichnet.org.
