(2) (The OBJECTive Technology Group, Ltd., Alexandria, VA) An organization that was devoted to distributed computing and object technology. Founded in 1994, it augmented the object and Internet standards community and served as an intermediary between them and ISVs and users. The OTG hosted the Object Oriented Technology & Symposium (OOTS) conferences for communications and media, the financial industry and the Federal Government. The functions of this organization were absorbed into the non-profit Interoperability Clearinghouse at www.ichnet.org.

After almost 18 months of design and development work, new devices with OTG are about to hit the market, and from some of the industry's biggest names.
TransDimension, a leading provider of USB connectivity solutions for embedded applications, today announced that its TD1120 single-chip USB OTG high-speed peripheral and full-speed host controller successfully completed the USB Integrator's Forum (USB-IF) High-Speed certification testing.
At the USB-Implementers Forum Compliance Workshop in May, USB OTG integrators met to perform initial testing of OTG Dual-Role devices against USB OTG electrical and protocol compliance programs.
