Location: 6.5 miles north of Portales via NM 467.
Facilities: 23 developed campsites (13 with electric hookups), restrooms (é), showers, picnic areas (é), group shelter, playground, hiking trails.
Activities: Camping, fishing, hiking, bird watching.
Special Features: Located on the grassy plains of east-central New Mexico, Park provides a true oasis, with cottonwood trees and shifting sand dunes. The park also features a small fishing lake, prairie trails, and numerous birds.
