Paul Caplan, blogger and social media consultant at The Internationale consultancy, points out that many public and voluntary sector chief executives are technophobic, feel they do not have the time to blog, or consider that the obligations of confidentiality and impartiality do not "allow" them to blog.
These run the gamut from breach of ongoing obligations of confidentiality, such as stolen client lists, to unlawful interference with economic interests and conspiracy to induce breach of contract.
