Established: Established on October 9, 1997; redesignated as an affiliated area of the National Park Service on January 23, 2004. The national memorial and museum are owned and operated by the Oklahoma City National Memorial Foundation. Location: In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, between Robinson and Harvey streets on the east and west, and between Sixth and Fourth streets on the north and south. Facilities: Rest rooms (é). Activities: Group tours (reservations available). Special Features: Memorial honors the victims, survivors, and rescuers of the Oklahoma City bombing of April 19, 1995. Site includes three separate components: the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial, the Memorial Center, and the National Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism (www.mipt.org).
