OmniTRACS
A fleet management system from QUALCOMM. Introduced in the late 1980s, it includes two-way mobile communications hardware, fleet management software and satellite tracking through its San Diego-based network management center. OmniTRACS is available for the iSeries (AS/400), Windows servers or as a Web-hosted operation.

QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM), San Diego, a leading provider of wireless data solutions, has announced that its Hours of Service application, an automated system for use with QUALCOMM's OmniTRACS solution, will be available to the trucking industry in summer 2005.
TLC is installing OmniTRACS in all of the company's 100 power units, as well as several dedicated transportation fleets.
