GORILLA Nation Media, the online ad-placement firm founded by two former entertainment attorneys, is becoming a heavyweight in online ad placement for movies. AdStar's new technology also provides advertisers with directory tools that allow them to edit current online ad content, schedule ads for additional days, track changes made to an ad once it is purchased, renew ads, cancel online ads and notify publishers of ad cancellation. But through a series of acquisitions since 2002, ValueClick has also stockpiled a suite of online ad research and analysis tools, giving it the ability to provide its customers with what's known as "ad-serving" technology and putting the company back on solid footing within an industry emerging from a devastating two-year slump. |
