Onotskaia Upland

an upland in the Baikal Region in Irkutsk Oblast of the RSFSR. It extends for 230 km parallel to the Primor’e Range from the headwaters of the Angara to the upper reaches of the Lena. The maximum elevation is 1,075 m. The range is composed of dolomite, sandstone, and limestone and is dissected by deep river valleys. It has domed summits and is covered by a taiga.
