With small-package op amp solutions, Microchip continues to expand into the portable market space, where high-precision analog is required in a space-saving form factor and at a competitive price. With less than one percent gain error, they have lower gain error than traditional op amp solutions that use expensive one-percent resistors. Connecting the analog multiplexer's output to a single external programmable-gain op amp and connecting the op amp's output to the ADC's direct input enables designers to program different amplification factors for each of the analog 16 input channels. |
