The SiP11203/11204 integrate seven functions typically implemented with discretes in isolated converters: the synchronous rectifier drivers, the error amplifier, the precision voltage reference, the opto-isolator driver, control of the start-up, control of the shutdown and overvoltage protection. All devices in Silicon Laboratories' embedded line-side product family offer a programmable line interface to meet global telephone line interface requirements and eliminate the need for the analog front end, isolation transformer, relays, opto-isolators and two- to four-wire hybrid. Both the Si3054 and Si3024 DAA chipsets eliminate the need for an analog front end, an isolation transformer, relays, opto-isolators and a two- to four-wire hybrid. |
