Oracle Files

    0.01 sec.

An application from Oracle based on the Content Management SDK (formerly Internet File System). Included in the Oracle Collaboration Suite, Oracle Files provides a system for sharing files across the enterprise using a Web browser or Network Neighborhood.

Oracle Files uses the concept of workspaces, which is a more user-friendly way of managing access control lists (ACLs). Typically Oracle Files resides in some number of middle-tier servers, which point to the Oracle database in another server. See Oracle Internet File System and Oracle Content Management SDK.
