a city in NW Spain, in Galicia on the Mi?o River: warm springs. Pop.: 109 475 (2003 est.)

Orense 

a city in Galicia in northwestern Spain, situated on the Miño River. Capital of Orense Province. Population, 73,400 (1970). Orense is a transportation junction and market town for an agricultural region that specializes in viticulture and orcharding. While the city’s industry is mainly related to the processing of agricultural products, there is also saw-milling and metal-working. Orense has warm sulfur springs.
