Orsha Upland
an upland in the northeastern Byelorussian SSR, in Vitebsk Oblast. The Orsha Upland is part of the Byelorussian Shelf and has elevations of up to 262 m. Its terrain is flat, with scarce hills and ridges. Large areas are under cultivation, but stands of spruce and broad-leaved forests with oak, maple, and elm trees have been preserved.
