Osveia

an urban-type settlement in Verkhnedvinsk Raion, Vitebsk Oblast, Byelorussian SSR. Osveia is situated on Lake Osveia, 37 km from the Verkhnedvinsk railroad station on the Daugavpils-Vitebsk line. It has food-processing enterprises, a peat-briquetting plant, and a brickyard. It also has a branch of the Verkhnedvinsk Art Objects Factory.
