Korvin, Ottó 

Born Mar. 24, 1894, in Velikij Bocskov; died Dec. 29, 1919, in Budapest. Hungarian revolutionary. Bank employee by trade.

In 1917 and 1918 he led an organization of revolutionary socialists that was an integral part of the Communist Party of Hungary (founded in 1918). During the existence of the Hungarian Soviet Republic of 1919, he headed the political department of the People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs. After the fall of the soviet republic, he remained in Budapest to start the underground work of the Communist Party of Hungary. He was arrested in November 1919 and later executed.
