Ouabache State Park Location: 5 miles southeast of Bluffton, off IN 201. Facilities: 77 campsites with electric hookups, showers, flush toilets, youth group camping area with 47 primitive tent sites, picnic areas, shelters, playgrounds, hiking trails, paved bike trail, swimming pool and waterslide, boat ramp, boat rental (rowboats, paddleboats, canoes), lodge recreation building (rental), 100-foot fire tower, nature center, naturalist services. Activities: Camping, swimming, fishing, boating (electric motors only), hiking, biking, interpretive programs. Special Features: Ouabache (pronounced "wabash") is the French spelling of the Indian word for Wabash, the river that forms the southwest boundary of the park.
