Oursler, (Charles) Fulton (1893–1952) author, editor; born in Baltimore, Md. He wrote plays, novels (especially mysteries under the pseudonym Anthony Abbot), and popular religious books, most notably The Greatest Story Ever Told (1949); he was senior editor of Reader's Digest from 1944 on.
