Effect of a device operative on excessive current, but not necessarily on short circuit, to cause and maintain the interruption of current flow to the device governed.
(mechanical engineering)
A safeguard against the application of excessive force against the wrist socket or end effector of a robot. Also known as overcurrent protection.
