Ovruch Upland
an upland in the Poles’e, in northern Zhitomir Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. It is about 50 km long and has elevations ranging from 185 to 316 m. The upland is composed of Proterozoic quartzes and schists and is covered with loess-like loam. It is strongly dissected by ravines.
