Ovidiopol’

an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Ovidiopol’ Raion, Odessa Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Situated on the Dnestr Liman, Ovidiopol’ is a landing, as well as the terminus of a branch of the Odessa-Belgorod-Dnestrovskii railroad line. It has a dairy and a bread-baking plant, as well as a fishing kolkhoz.
