PDS

Providing a channel directly to the CPU, the PDS coexisted with NuBus slots on some models. The PDS was mostly CPU specific, but managed to remain standard on the Mac LC through various CPU incarnations.

(2) (Premises Distribution System) The cabling, racks and adapters that connect telephone wires within a building or group of buildings to each other and to external lines of the telephone company.
