Facilities: 293 modern campsites, organization campground (2 sites), picnic area, shelter (é), trails, beach house, visitor center (é).
Activities: Camping, swimming, hiking, cross-country skiing, wildlife observation, interpretive programs.
Special Features: Park includes 2.5 miles of shoreline along Lake Michigan, towering sand dunes, and a stairway leading to the top of a high dune overlook. The Gillette Sand Dune Visitor Center offers programs, exhibits, and hands-on displays explaining the story of Michigan's sand dunes.
