PS4

(PlayStation 4) The latest video game console from Sony introduced in November 2013. The PS4 migrated to standard 64-bit x86 processing and DDR SDRAM, relinquishing the Cell chip and XDR memory of the PlayStation 3. Along with a mobile app that allows a tablet or smartphone to serve as a second screen, Sony is strongly emphasizing social gaming due to its 2012 acquisition of the Gaikai cloud-based gaming service.
