Pach, Walter (1883–1958) painter, art historian; born in New York City. Based in New York City, he was a painter who selected European art for the Armory Show (1913). A leading art historian, he published reviews, translations, and books, such as Queer Thing, Painting (1939) and The Classical Tradition in Modern Art (1959).
