Page, John (1743–1808) U. S. representative, governor; born in Gloucester County, Va. He fought in the French and Indian Wars and in the Revolutionary Army with George Washington before going to Congress (Rep., Va.; 1789–97), and later served as Virginia's governor (1802–05).
