Pangnirtung (păng'nərtŭng`), trading post, E Baffin Island, Nunavut Territory, Canada. It is a post of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and a center for Inuit artworks.

Labrador, Nunavik, Pangnirtung and Ulukhakktok' weavers' fingers fly on a high warp loom as they collaborate on a large woven piece in Canada's largest weaving studio at Pangnirtung in Nunavut.
Later in the week, Harper will travel to the Inuit hamlet Pangnirtung, on Baffin Island, and to Yellowknife and Whitehorse, the regional capitals of the Northwest Territories and the Yukon respectively.
