Parád
a balneological health resort in Hungary, in the megye (county) of Heves, on the northern slopes of the Mátra Hills, 112 km from Budapest. The climate is temperate continental. Summers are warm, with an average July temperature of 18.5°C, and winters are mild, with an average January temperature of — 1.8°C. Precipitation is 600 mm per year. The mineral water has a chemical composition
and is used for baths. Naturally carbonated water from the spring at Csévicze has a chemical composition
and is used for drinking. Climatotherapeutic treatment is also available. Patients are treated for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and biliary tract, gynecological diseases, and functional disorders of the nervous system.
