Parish, Mrs. Henry, II (“Sister”) (1910– ) interior decorator; born in Morristown, N.J. When the stock market crash brought an end to an early life of privilege, she started her own decorating firm (1933). She created an unpretentious aura of upper class comfort for wealthy clients. For her 1962 commission to redo the Kennedy White House, she brought in Albert Hadley as a partner.
