The latest Icount ACM20 particle counter from Parker Hannifin is now included as test equipment for the determination of dispersed contamination in jet fuel, in line with the Defstan 9191 Jet Fuel Specification.
au IDM Instruments Pry Ltd has recently updated its Gelbo Flex Tester with Particle Counter with the new Solair Particle Counter used alongside the machines.
The methodology for measuring the efficiency of the test filter consists of injecting potassium chloride (KCL) particles into the test apparatus and measuring the concentration of the particles upstream and downstream of the test filter using a laser particle counter.
