Pavlov
Ivan Petrovich . 1849--1936, Russian physiologist. His study of conditioned reflexes in dogs influenced behaviourism. He also made important contributions to the study of digestion: Nobel prize for physiology or medicine 1904

Pavlov

an Upper Paleolithic settlement in Czechoslovakia, near the city of Mikulov in South Moravia. In 1952 the Czecho-slovakian archaeologist B. Klíma began excavations that uncovered the remains of more than ten permanent Paleolithic dwellings, flint implements, polished and drilled stone artifacts, bone spearheads, needles, digging tools, flutes, bone ornaments, drilled animal teeth, and seashells. Objects of art included bone carvings and figurines of humans and animals made of mammoth tusk, stone, and fired clay. Another find was a burial site of a man covered with the shoulder blade of a mammoth. The Pavlov archaeological site was the basis for establishing the existence of the Pavlov Paleolithic culture, widespread primarily in Central Europe. The culture has been dated to 24,000–28,000 years ago by the radiocarbon method.

Pavlov said the "revolution was made by a madman with syphilis of the brain".
BULGARIAN kid Tomislav Pavlov has been snatched away from Celtic by old club CSKA Sofia.
That got a shoulder shrug, as I knew it would, and I suggested the possibility that (a) Pavlov never had a dog, but just made up a story to wow the media or (b) he had a bunch of dogs but never named any, just assigned them random numbers.
