The adductor group (adductor magnus, adductor longus, adductor brevis, pectineus, and gracilis) is located on the medial thigh and is responsible for adducting and medially rotating the thigh.
[10-13] Hip extension ROM and the length of the one-joint (psoas major, iliacus, pectineus, adductor longus and brevis) and two-joint (rectus femoris, tensor fascia lata, sartorius) hip flexor muscles are tested using a modified Thomas test position.
