Activities: Camping, boating, canoeing, hunting, fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing.
Special Features: White pelicans frequent the lake; they were so numerous when the region was first settled that the lake was named in their honor.
