It's with the Moscow-based group that Ponti recently made his PentaTone Classics-recording debut, performing Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition.

His latest recordings are of Bruckner's 9th Symphony with the Suisse, and a Brahms cycle with the Pittsburgh Symphony, for whom he is guest conductor in the German repertoire, all on the Pentatone label.
