Location: 6 miles south of McComb, off I-55 (Exit 13).
Facilities: 100 developed campsites with water and electrical hookups, 4 bathhouses with hot showers, sand beach (for registered guests only), camp store (seasonal); 22 tent campsites with water and restrooms nearby; 25 vacation cabins and 2 executive golf villas; 9-unit lodge/motel; group camp; picnic area, 4 pavilions, comfort stations; nature trail (8 miles); swimming pool, 5 lighted tennis courts, playground, marina, boat launch, fish cleaning station; 18-hole golf course, 9-hole executive golf course, driving range, putting green; visitor center, convention center.
Activities: Camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, water-skiing, jet skiing, golf, tennis.
Special Features: Park features loblolly pines, magnolia trees, rolling hills, spectacular seasonal flowers, and a mild climate year round. The 700-acre Lake Tangipahoa is stocked with bass, bream, catfish, and crappie, and both water-skiing and jet-skiing are permitted on the lake.

CAMP SUNSHINE McComb This special camp, held at Percy Quin State Park just south of McComb, was launched in 1976 as a way to offer fun and excitement to mentally and physically challenged children and adults.
Once Shelly had permission from Percy Quin State Park, where Camp Sunshine is held, she recruited a retired contractor, a landscaper, the McComb Garden Club, and several of her friends to help build the chapel, which features benches, flowers, a cross, and stones with the names of the remembered.
