Perizzite

Perizzite (pĕr`ĭzīt, pērĭz`–), pre-Israelite inhabitants of ancient Palestine. According to the Book of Joshua, the Perizzites were located in the hill country. They were enslaved by Solomon. References to them in the Bible are numerous.
