(fluid mechanics)
The rate of water flow in gallons per day through a cross section of 1 square foot under a unit hydraulic gradient, at the prevailing temperature or at 60°F (16°C). Also known as coefficient of permeability; hydraulic conductivity; Meinzer unit.
