Peshtigo River State Forest


Location:20 miles northwest of Crivitz.
Activities:Hiking, fishing, boating, canoeing, hunting, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Undeveloped forest along 70 miles of Peshtigo River in Marinette County. A section of the forest is adjacent to the new Governor Thompson State Park (see separate entry).
