Specialty additive packages include medical and FDA-approved colorants, fluorescent, photochromatic, phosphorescent, flame retardant, thermochromatic, fragrance and additive masterbatches. The paper-thin, photochromatic, pressure sensitive labels change color upon UV exposure and are reported to be five times faster than the previous version. There has been an effort for some time to put together a photochromatic approach to recording, using these fluorescent properties. |
