Pickwick Landing State Resort Park Location: Off TN Highway 57 at Pickwick Dam. Facilities: 48 campsites, cabins, 119-room inn, picnic areas (é), picnic shelters, marina, boat ramps, boat rentals, fishing piers, beaches, restaurant, conference center, 18-hole golf course, gift shop, playground. Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, golf. Special Features: Pickwick Landing was a riverboat stop dating from the 1840s. During the Great Depression, the site was chosen for one of the Tennessee Valley Authority's dams on the Tennessee River. Today Pickwick Landing is one of the most visited parks in the system.
