Pilbara 

a mining center in Australia, in the state of Western Australia. Pilbara is the site of a large iron ore deposit, which was opened up in 1961. Ore reserves are estimated at 8 billion tons, with an iron content of 48-68 percent. The ore is shipped to Japan.
