Pilikhina, Margarita Mikhailovna
Born June 30, 1926, in Moscow; died there Mar. 12-13, 1975. Soviet cameraman. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1965). Member of the CPSU from 1956. In 1950, Pilikhina graduated from the cinematography department of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography. She shot the films For the Power of the Soviets (1956), Night Patrol (1957), Man From the Planet Earth (1959), Foma Gordeev (1959), I Am Twenty Years Old (1965), Daytime Stars (1968), Tchaikovsky (1970), and Affairs of the Heart (1974). Since 1970, Pilikhina was teaching at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography. She was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. [19-1582-5; updated] Want to thank TFD for its existence?
