Pillsbury State Park Location: 3.5 miles north of Washington off Route 31. Facilities: 41 primitive tent campsites (including 7 walk-in, 1 hike-to, and 2 boat-in sites and 1 youth group site) with pit toilets, playground, canoe rentals; hiking and mountain bike trails. Activities: Camping, canoeing, fishing, picnicking, hiking, mountain biking; winter use with some restrictions. Special Features: Park is heavily wooded, with several ponds and wetlands, and is one of New Hampshire's more primitive parks. Its network of hiking trails provides a major link in the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway, a 51-mile hiking trail that connects the two mountains.
