| The modern Internet also gained support in 1985 when the National Science Foundation formed the NSFNET, linking five supercomputer centers at Princeton University, Pittsburgh, University of California at San Diego, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Cornell University. Also on hand to present workshops on "Colon Cancer Screening: Best Approaches" and "School Physical Activity and Reproductive Health Programs and their Impact on Adolescent Health," among others, will be physicians from the nation's top research hospitals and educational centers, including the University of Pittsburgh, University of North Carolina and Johns Hopkins Center for Adolescent Health. The EECP system is now in use at major medical centers, including those affiliated with Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, University of Pittsburgh, University of California San Diego, University of California San Francisco and the University of Virginia, as well as the Miami Heart Institute and The Mayo Clinic. |
