Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, bicycling, hunting (with restrictions), interpretive programs.
Special Features: Located just 20 miles from downtown Richmond, Pocahontas is one of Virginia's most popular states park and includes 150-acre Swift Creek Lake and 24-acre Beaver Lake. The Civilian Conservation Corps Museum at the park displays historic photographics, artifacts, and personal mementos in an original building outfitted with modern conveniences.
