Also known as pocket bikes or pocket rockets, these small versions weigh between 45 and 90 pounds and seat their hunched and bunched riders 18 to 24 inches off the ground.
Originally designed for racing on European tracks, pocket bikes are much smaller versions of motorcycles and are designed for speed.
They reason that since pocket bikes and mini motorcycles technically qualify as motor vehicles, they are subject to the same licensing, registration and insurance regulations.
