Point Dume State Beach

Location: At the south end of Westward Beach Road in Malibu.
Facilities: Undeveloped beach and nature preserve with trails.
Activities: Fishing, swimming, surfing, scuba diving, hiking, whale watching (December to March).
Special Features: Adjacent to the beach area is Point Dume State Preserve, an area of headlands, cliffs, rocky coves, and beach access. On a clear day, visitors can enjoy a scenic view of the entire Santa Monica Bay, north Malibu Coast, inland Santa Monica Mountains, and distant Catalina Island.
