Location: 15 miles south of Oxnard on Highway 1.
Facilities: Family campsites (tent and RV; some @ sites), group campsites, picnic areas (é), trails (70+ miles).
Activities: Camping, surf fishing, hiking, swimming, body surfing, horseback riding, bicycling, wildlife viewing.
Special Features: Located in the Santa Monica Mountains, the park features five miles of ocean shoreline with sandy beaches, sand dunes, rocky bluffs, rugged hills and uplands, two river canyons, and wide grassy valleys. Park also encompasses the jagged pinnacles of the Boney Mountains State Wilderness Area.
