Poligrafiia
(printing), a monthly industrial and technical journal of the State Committee of the USSR Council of Ministers on Publishing, Printing, and the Book Trade. Published in Moscow since 1924, the journal was first called Graficheskoe iskusstvo (Graphic Art), and from 1925 to 1963 Poligraficheskoe proiz-vodstvo (The Printing Industry); since 1963 its name has been Poligrafiia. Poligrafiia prints material on the planning, economics, and labor organization of printing and on technology and the full-scale mechanization and automation of production processes.
